TCS Smart Hiring for 2025 Batch Eligibility Criteria :

Eligible Courses & Disciplines

Candidates must have completed a 3-year full-time degree in one of the following:

  • BCA
  • B.Sc (IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Cyber Security, Biochemistry)
  • B.Voc (CS / IT)

Only candidates from the 2025 and 2026 batches are eligible.

Academic Performance

Applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in:

  • Class 10
  • Class 12
  • Diploma (if applicable)
  • Graduation (including the final semester/year)

Backlog Policy

  • 2025 Batch: No active backlogs at the time of appearing for the selection process.
  • 2026 Batch: Up to one active backlog is allow during the selection process.

However, all candidates must complete their degree within the prescribed duration and must be backlog-free at the time of joining TCS, if selected.

Education Gaps

  • Candidates must declare any gaps in education in the TCS application form.
  • The total gap should not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification.
  • Supporting documents will be verified during the selection process.

Course Type

  • Only full-time courses are accept.
  • Part-time or correspondence courses are not eligible.
  • Candidates who completed Class 10 or 12 from NIOS are eligible, provided their graduation is full-time.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 28 years

Work Experience

This is an entry-level role.
Any prior work experience must be declared honestly in the application form, along with valid supporting documents.

The assessment is conducted by TCS iON and must be taken in person.
